THERE will be some road closures in Joondalup this Sunday morning to ensure the safety of participants in the ECU Community Campus Dash.
The east side of Grand Boulevard from Kendrew Crescent to Boas Avenue and Kendrew Crescent from Grand Boulevard to Lakeside Drive will be closed to through traffic from 6am to 10am.
Residents will be able to move in and out of the area with help from traffic management event staff.
The ECU interior roads at Chancellor Pass roundabout, Cornell Parade before the university administration centre and all other entrances to interior roads will be closed to through traffic from 7.30am to 10.30am.
Residential and ECU Sports Centre access will be via Chancellor Pass and Deakin Gate.
The Campus Dash takes runners and walkers along Grand Boulevard and through Central Park over 3km, 6km or 12m courses.
Family-friendly entertainment for spectators includes an inflatable climbing wall, face-painting, bouncy castle and zorb balls.
Money raised will fund ECU Health and Wellness Institute research into exercise programs improving the lives of people with lung cancer.
