Ruby red slippers found under rain tank

Max Walker said concrete legs wearing slippers similar to those worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz, and stolen from the Judy Garland Museum 10 years ago, protrude from under a rainwater tank at Padbury Primary School.

"One of the mums gave me some red slippers " I put some glitter on them," he said.

"I only put them in a couple of months ago."

An anonymous donor offered a reward of US$1 million for information leading to the shoes' recovery this month.
