THREE local residents were taken on the ultimate voyage aboard Australia’s only tall ship personal development program for people with a disability.
As a partner of the Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Ultimate Challenge Voyage, Community Vision funded two of its disability customers and one support worker to take part in the sail from Fremantle, which aims to provide a source of cognitive and emotional stimulation, challenge and accomplishment.
Two Rocks support worker Sophie Chalinge, who had done the sail once before many years ago, joined Amy Moorhouse, of Mindarie, and Amber Howell, of Padbury, who both attend Community Vision’s Kingsley youth space.
