THE City of Joondalup will continue to rock the suburbs this Saturday when the Music in the Park concert series heads to Penistone Park in Greenwood.
Many locals are expected to pack a picnic and enjoy a free night of music from Perth rock n’ soul band Boom!Bap!Pow! and swing sextet The Darling Buds of May.
It will be the second concert in the 2016-17 series following the opening show at Central Park, Joondalup in November.
After winning WAMI Pop Song of the Year in 2012 for popular single Suit, Boom!Bap!Pow! has spent the last few years touring the globe, while The Darling Buds of May will take audiences on a journey of 1920s Dixieland jazz and ‘40s and ‘50s swing and blues.

The concert runs from 7pm to 9.30pm, with children’s activities from 6pm.
