Second kangaroo torturer supporter charged with assault on media outside Joondalup court

GANG Crime Squad detectives have charged a second man over an attack on the media outside Joondalup Magistrates Court on Monday.

The two men were in court to support kangaroo torturer Dylan Griffin, who was jailed for 11 months.

When leaving the court about 10.45am, police alleged the two men, who are linked to the Outlaws bikies, assaulted two journalists and damaged television camera equipment.

On Tuesday, a 29-year-old man from Banksia Grove was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and common assault.

Now a 56-year-old man from Victoria has been charged with common assault and unlawful damage.

Both men are due to appear before the Joondalup Magistrates Court on February 6.
