EACH night in Australia more than 85,000 women and teenage girls are homeless, with family violence the number one reason.

Share the Dignity has national drives in April and August each year for donations of pads and tampons.

At the end of the month, the organisation distributes thousands of packets of sanitary products to women in need through partner charities.

Locals can drop off items at Joondalup MLA Emily Hamilton’s office at 2/1 Wise Street, Joondalup until the end of the month.

Other local collection points can be found at www.sharethedignity.com.au.
