WORK will soon start on the installation of a fish-cleaning station and concrete pathway at the Ocean Reef Boat Harbour carpark.
Construction of the cleaning station on the carpark’s south-east traffic island will start on July 18 and is expected to take six weeks.
This will include a stainless-steel fish-cleaning surface, a waste-storage tank, a liquid and solid-waste disposal system, shade structure, trenching works for water and lighting connections and fishing signage.
The pathway will be constructed alongside the boat-washdown bays, connecting the Boat Harbour Quays access road pathway to the foreshore and will include new pram ramps, line markings and bollards. It will provide a safer option for people with disabilities to access the foreshore facilities.
