Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

SACRED Heart College recently hosted 440 students from 17 schools for the Perth round of the annual World Scholar’s Cup.

The competition involves two days of writing, debating, a 120-question multiple choice test and the Scholar’s Bowl where every team gets a buzzer and is asked questions to answer before time runs out.

Students are then scored and receive awards as teams as well as individually.

There were 330 students in the junior competition for years 7 to 9 and 110 in the senior competition for years 10 to 12.
