Year 8 student Dara Hart was the champion for his year level, winning the science, maths and literacy categories.

He received the Macquarie Medal in Sydney in November, and his score helped Australia place third overall, with Pakistan and Malaysia winning first and second respectively.

Played around the globe, the games hosted by 3P Learning to support UNICEF involved about six million students in 159 countries.
