Students have more options to access uni

MATER Dei College has signed an agreement with Murdoch University that will help students struggling with the demands of ATAR.

FlexiTrack High aims to provide an alternative to ATAR for students seeking university entrance and counts as four units towards the WACE.

Successfully completing the course would see students awarded a notional ATAR of 70 and entry into Murdoch University as well as equipping students with the knowledge, skills and experience to succeed at university.

The course will be run at the Edgewater school but students will visit the Murdoch campus twice to take part in university activities in a bid to increase motivation and help students become more comfortable.

The program will also include weekend workshops that students are encouraged to take part in to experience university tutorials and familiarise with the Murdoch campus.
