THE City of Wanneroo’s Summer Wonderland program will return to the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre next month, giving children opportunities to celebrate Christmas in Australian style.

There are free activities on offer almost every day from December 1 to 22, starting with Christmas crafts at Wanneroo museum.

The sessions to make festive decorations will run from 10am to 4pm on weekdays and noon to 4pm on Saturdays and the museum will also host a clue hunt.

From December 3 to 17 children can make fish kites and mini turtles, play with kinetic sand, search for seashells and create traditional crafts in the conference room on weekdays from 10am to 4pm.

People can listen to Christmas stories and make a star at the Wanneroo Library on December 13 from 10.30am or take part in the It’s All About Play session for 2018 and carols at the library on December 14 from 9am.

On December 19, the library will host Nature Pixie’s Bush Christmas: A Special Christmas Story from 10am to 10.45am with a story about gumnut babies searching for the rainbow Christmas tree in the Aussie bush.
