Wanneroo teachers win ASG teaching awards

Neil Gray from Sacred Heart College, Paula Warr from Woodvale Secondary College and Nicole Crosthwaite from St Anthony’s School in Wanneroo were among 60 people to receive a National Excellence in Teaching Award.

The award recognises outstanding and dedicated teachers who are passionate about education and helping students achieve their potential.

Mr Gray, an engineering studies specialist teacher, was credited for helping Sacred Heart become one of the top ATAR-performing schools in engineering studies.

The three teachers were among eight recipients from WA.

NEiTA will announce the national award winners next year.

Professional development and project grants are available at the national award level.

One teacher will get the opportunity to go to Space Camp in the United States.
