THE Spiers Centre hosted an Easter hunt playgroup sharing crafts, games and an egg hunt with families from communities across the northern suburbs on Monday.

The Heathridge centre has been working together with individuals and families to develop strong, caring and resilient communities for more than 30 years and the children’s services played an essential part in supporting families.

Children’s services coordinator Mel Wright said playgroups gave parents and caregivers a place to maintain strong community networks, build on their skill and confidence and enhance their children’s cognitive, language, emotional and physical skills while having fun.
