Train service extended

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

Kingsley MLA Andrea Mitchell welcomed Transperth’s announcement regarding the W-pattern trains, which run during peak times.

“The volume of commuters using Greenwood station has steadily increased in recent years and it is a positive step to have all Joondalup line trains now servicing this busy station,” she said.

The W-pattern trains would skip Greenwood station to prevent a backlog of trains waiting to enter Perth station when the C pattern trains (starting at Butler) skipped Glendalough and Leederville.

With all trains now stopping at Glendalough and Leederville, this negates the need to skip Greenwood.
