Transperth buses expecting ‘significant disruptions’

TRANSPERTH buses are experiencing significant delays today as the Transport Workers Union (TWU) conducts four-hour work stoppages.

Blue and Green CAT services are currently cancelled and are expected to remain cancelled for the remainderĀ of the day.

There are significant disruptions to services in the northern suburbs, and this is expected to continue throught the day

There are also some disruption in the southern suburbs.

The TWU advised Transperth’s contractor Transdev of the stoppages planned from first service until last service on the following dates:

  • Friday 25 January
  • Saturday 26 January
  • Monday 28 January
  • Tuesday 29 January
  • Wednesday 30 January

The industrial action only relates to a limited number of bus drivers operating out of the Rockingham, Mandurah, Fremantle and Joondalup areas as well as the Perth CAT.

Services operated by Path Transit and Swan Transit remain unaffected.
