TWO apartment buildings have been proposed for neighbouring sites in Duncraig, near Warwick train station.
One proposes a three-storey building with 16 units across 8 and 10 Brechin Court, while the other is for a three-storey building with 13 units across 4 and 6 Brechin Court.
The 16-unit development from Zegna and Harden Jones Architects proposes two units on the ground floor and seven each on the next two floors, a roof terrace, 29 residential car parking bays, three visitor bays and bike parking.
The applicant is seeking discretions in the areas of plot ratio, setbacks, landscaping, front fencing, site works, visual privacy, overshadowing and diversity of dwelling size.
The building height has also been exceeded but only because of the lift overrun.
The 13-unit development from Danmar Developments proposes nine two-bedroom and two-bathroom units, three two-bedroom and one-bathroom units, and one one-bedroom and one-bathroom unit, with five units on the ground and first floors and three on the second floor.
It also includes 13 residential car parking bays, seven visitor bays and bike parking.
The applicant is seeking discretions in the areas of building height, boundary setbacks, landscaping, site works, retaining walls, visual privacy and diversity of dwelling size.
The City of Joondalup is seeking feedback on both proposals before April 3 via email@example.com or posted to PO Box 21, Joondalup WA 6919.
