JOONDALUP Primary School and its education support centre celebrated their home state all last week in honour of WA Day.
Acting associate principal Stacey Young said the week-long celebration included creating a map of things students love about WA, making bookmarks with artwork from the school’s Aboriginal liaison officer and a WA-themed assembly.

READ NOW“On Thursday the students also dressed in WA-themed clothes such as sporting teams, state colours or olden day clothes,” she said.
“They then participated in a series of tabloid games on the school oval to the tunes of WA artists.
“Games included three-legged races, marbles, quoits, egg and spoon races, skipping and many more.”
