WA Truck Show: local trio’s big rigs haul big bucks

A TRUCKING trio used to longer hauls up north will head south this weekend for a fundraising event.

Larry Brewer (Burns Beach), Graeme Green (Tapping) and Ben Coburn (Yanchep) will be polishing up their truck for this weekend’s WA Truck Show, which will raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.

Their Connolly-based business, North West Express, is a mobile butchery that trucks and sells meat in North-West WA.

They will join other truck drivers at the Kwinana Motorplex on September 11 for the event.

“It’s more of a family day event with a show and shine – there are going to be about 100 very shiny prime movers down there,” Mr Brewer said. “I think it will be a good day out – people just love admiring big shiny trucks.”
