POLICE have charged two children over the double arson of a Warwick home.

Officers allege a 17-year-old Marangaroo boy and 15-year-old Warwick girl lit fires at the Willow Road property on April 17 and May 1 causing about $475,000 damage.

The blazes torched the two-storey house beyond repair, leading to its demolition.

Investigators charged each teenager with two counts of burglary, two counts of criminal damage by fire and two counts of stealing.

They will appear in Perth Children’s Court today.
