KOALAS and kangaroos took to a habitat of a different kind this week.

Bethanie Kingsley’s aged care facility welcomed WestOz Wildlife on November 1 to celebrate Seniors Week, which ran from October 29 to November 5.

Themed All Things Aussie, the event allowed residents and their families to get up close to Australian animals and learn about their history, habits and conservation from the experienced animal handlers.
