Whitford City dining and entertainment precinct to open on September 21

THE countdown to the official opening of Westfield Whitford City’s new dining and entertainment precinct is on.

Westfield announced this morning it would open in exactly a month on Thursday, September 21.

The $75 million redevelopment features 12 eateries, a micro brewery and an eight-screen Event Cinemas complex with Gold Class and Vmax theatres.

There will also be an imaginative play area and regular live acoustic music.

Eateries to open

Whitfords Brewing Company: Run by the owners of Northbridge Brewing Company, it aims to celebrate well-made craft beer and great food with an on-site brewery operated by Ken Arrowsmith and a rooftop terrace bar with ocean views.

Hunter & Barrel: The masterminds behind Ribs & Burgers bring Hunter & Barrel to WA for the very first time. Slow-cooked meats over coal pits and rotisserie spits are brought together with craft-beer, wine and speciality barrel-aged spirits.

Miss Chow’s: An Asian eatery serving its famous family dumplings alongside French champagne.

Bangkok Brothers: Perth’s own slice of Thailand, offering speedy lunchtime noodles, delightful drinks, delicious dinners and flavourful bites.

Jersey Jack Gelato: Hand crafted recipes and adventurous dessert combinations.

East Village: A New York-style foodies dream, East Village offers up The Reuben Sandwich, pizzas, elegant cocktails and other American favourites, including their renowned burgers.

Gami Chicken: A fun atmosphere full of Korean-fried chicken and beer.

Dough Pizza: Traditional Italian wood-fired pizza as well as homemade pasta, salads and sweets all inspired by Southern Italy’s proud traditions.

Eat House: A sister brand to East Village and The Cutting Board, Eat House will offer up market deli-style dining.

Grill’d: All about fresh, healthy burgers, whether you’re a vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or all in.
