THE countdown to the official opening of Westfield Whitford City’s new dining and entertainment precinct is on.

Westfield announced this morning it would open in exactly a month on Thursday, September 21.

The $75 million redevelopment features 12 eateries, a micro brewery and an eight-screen Event Cinemas complex with Gold Class and Vmax theatres.

There will also be an imaginative play area and regular live acoustic music.
