Whitford City: man filmed girl in clothing store change rooms, police allege

A MAN allegedly filmed a 14-year-old girl by sliding a phone underneath the change room wall of a Whitfords City retail store.

Police last month charged a 47-year-old man with indecently recording a child aged between 13 and 16.

Officers allege the accused entered a change room at the outlet in November.

While he was in there, police allege he slid his phone under the wall to film a girl in the stall next to him.

He was charged on April 8 and is next due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court on May 20.
