THE names of three new eateries to open as part of the Westfield Whitford City shopping centre redevelopment have been revealed.

From the creators of Ribs & Burgers comes Hunter & Barrel from the east coast, which markets itself as “a sophisticated take on the hunter’s way where ancient ritual combines with raw elements of nature in a modern setting”.

“Hunter’s boards, braised soups, slow-cooked meats, pies, and hearty stews are prepared by our signature coal and spit rotisserie, with a range of vegetarian options on offer as well,” its website said.

The Hillarys centre will also welcome Asian eatery and dumplings house Miss Chow’s and Thai restaurant Bangkok Brothers.

These outlets will join the already announced Whitfords Brewing Company from the team behind Northbridge Brewing Company and the new Event Cinema complex including Gold Class and Vmax.

The new beach-inspired dining and entertainment precinct, which will feature 10 new food and beverage retailers and is stage one of the centre’s $90 million redevelopment, is expected to open in late September.

“We look forward to opening the new-look Whitford City and bringing a new mix of must-visit dining and entertainment retailers to Perth’s northern suburbs,” centre manager Scott Greenwood said.

“The precinct offers our customers a complete dining and lifestyle experience and all in one place.”
