AUSSIE rocker Jimmy Barnes will head to the northern suburbs as part of his latest book tour.

Dymocks Joondalup and City of Joondalup libraries will host Barnes at Joondalup Resort to celebrate his new book Working Class Man, which follows on from his critically acclaimed bestseller Working Class Boy.

In the hugely anticipated sequel, Barnes picks up the story of his life as he leaves Adelaide in the back of an old truck with a then unknown band called Cold Chisel.

The self-penned memoir gives an honest reflection on success, fame and addiction and reveals how Barnes used the fuel of childhood trauma to ignite and propel one of Australia’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll stories.

Radio presenter Sue Myc will MC the November 10 event, with signed copies of Working Class Man available to buy.

Barnes will also have photos with fans who have a copy of the book.

Guests are asked to arrive by 6pm to be seated for a 6.30pm start.

Tickets are $16 and include finger food.
