Youngsters urged to join ahead of Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club registration day

SORRENTO Surf Life Saving Club is encouraging juniors to attend its registration day this month.

Its junior program is based on the development of youth within the club as future patrolling members and training for those wanting to compete.

There are two categories: juniors aged between five and 13 and youths aged 14 to 17.

These are both divided further into age groups for competitions and Surf Life Saving Australia accreditation.

New and existing junior and senior members can register at the West Coast Drive club between 11am and 2pm on August 27.
