Win a Toyota Yaris at Sorrento Quay’s Duck Derby

GET ready for a quacking good time and the opportunity to win a brand new Toyota Yaris.

Proudly presented by Rotary Club of Heirisson, the Duck Derby returns to Sorrento Quay on Sunday, March 31

Following on from many successful years at Claisberook Cove in East Perth, the event needed a larger location hence the move to Hillary’s Boat Harbour.

On the day, there will be plenty of activities for the whole family focused on fun, food and feathers.

Purchasing a $10 ticket guarantees a duck, tagged with your ticket number in the race.

This gets you into the draw to win the car or other cash prices including $3500 and $1500 for 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.

The ducks are expected to take to the water at 2pm at Hillary’s Boat and the first three ducks to cross the finish line will win these great prizes for the holders of the matching tickets.

This is a not for profit charity event and all proceeds raised will go to this years’ nominated beneficiaries.

The Rotary Club of Heirisson supports community projects both locally and internationally including a homeless respite centre, Socks in the City, Homeless Healthcare, International Water projects and a range of Youth Support projects and activities.

All funds raised by The Rotary Club of Subiaco will go to local projects focussed on supporting the homeless and the Jo Wheatley All Abilities Play Space which allows people of all ages and abilities to play together.

Breast Cancer Care WA is a WA charity that provides personalised emotional, practical and financial support and care to people affected by breast cancer.

Playgroups WA is a beneficiary, with each playgroup providing a supportive environment for children and their family or carer.

Each offers a sense of belonging to the community and opportunities to form friendships and share ideas and information.

All proceeds raised by Floreat Athena Football Club will support the club’s playing groups, in particular in the development of its Junior Club.

Proceeds for Radio RTR FM will go towards a number of community activities.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased on the day or by heading to duckderby.com.au
