COULD this Sorrento boy be presenting a medal to a West Coast Eagles or Fremantle Dockers player at the MCG on AFL Grand Final Day?
Benny Tognala was selected as one of just 22 youngsters from 16,000 applicants as an Auskicker of the Year nominee.
As part of his nomination, he will take to the presentation stage on grand final day to drape a medal around a premiership player’s neck.
He will also be taking part in a walk in the grand final parade.
The footy fanatic will learn if he’s been named Auskicker of the Year at an awards dinner at the MCG in the lead-up to the grand final.
If Benny wins, he will receive $5000 and a year’s football mentoring from Geelong captain Joel Selwood.
