JOONDALUP will look to be the only undefeated team left standing in the State Basketball League this weekend as the side heads into its first double header of the year.
The Wolves and the Stirling Senators are the only two sides without a loss and they face off in a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday night at Warwick Stadium.
Joondalup leads the league with a 3-0 record and Stirling is below them at 4-0 with an inferior percentage.
The Wolves face 13th-placed South West at home on Sunday.
Joondalup is coming off a morale-boosting 19-point win at HBF Arena last Thursday over the Perth Redbacks after losing to them in last year’s grand final.
Import Jalen Billups continued his dominant start to the season to lead the team in scoring (25 points) and rebounds (eight) in the 92-73 victory. Fellow import Brian Sullivan produced a season-high 16 points.
In the women’s league, Joondalup (eighth) is still searching for its second win of the year after losing to the Redbacks 78-75.
Nikita Martin led scoring (15 points) and rebounds (11), while American import Kourtney Zadina hit 14 points. The side is a solid chance for two wins, with South West and Stirling both winless.
