The final race of the 2016-17 Triathlon Series was held in Hillarys this month, with 17-year-old Jessica Claxton declared the overall winner of the female open category and Jasmine Greaves (14) topping the female 14 to 15-year-old section.
Both teenagers are members of Craigie-based Breakers Swim Club, training at least 18 hours per week.
Jessica represented Australia at the World Triathlon Championships last year and hopes to make the team again, while Jasmine is in her first season.
