Falcons notch best win of their season

In sodden and windy conditions, the Falcons triumphed 8.10 (58) to 5.11 (41) at Arena Joondalup.

The win returned the resurgent Falcons to the top five for the first time since round two.

The hosts were behind by two points at three quarter time but kicked four goals to one in the last term to give them their third-straight win ahead of this weekend’s bye.

Luke Meadows’ breakout season for the Falcons continued with the 21-year-old amassing 30 possessions and a goal.

Tyler Keitel put in one of his best performances since arriving at the club last year to take an equal team-high 32 disposals and match-high 10 marks.

Rohan Kerr also gathered 32 touches.

Kody Manning and Andrew Strijk led the goal tally with two each.

Fremantle hardman Clancee Pearce was Peel’s most prolific ball user with 35 possessions.
