FORMER Fremantle-listed footballer Max Duffy has had his first training sessions with West Perth as the side’s latest ex-AFL recruit.
Duffy was enthusiastic about the fresh start after the Dockers delisted him this year.
“I just want to focus on my football and enjoy it,” he said.
“I’m really happy to be at West Perth and looking forward to the season ahead.”
Injury troubles restricted his AFL development at Fremantle, where he managed three games in three seasons, including last year’s final round.
But he had a solid campaign with Fremantle-affiliate Peel in 2015, kicking 20 goals while averaging 17 disposals and four marks from 17 games in his most complete season of WAFL football to date.
The 184cm East Fremantle product is expected to bolster the Falcons’’ forward stocks.
