JOONDALUP-Kinross Junior Football Club has enjoyed the best kind of grand final excitement with three of its grades claiming premierships in one day.

The club had three teams – Year 8s, Year 10s and Year 12s – in grand finals on Saturday and all of them shrouded Joondalup-Kinross in glory as part of the northern conference districts competition.

The Year 8 Hornets defeated Kingsway Rockets 9.7 (61) to 5.3 (33) at Seacrest Park.

The Year 10 Jets ousted Kingsway Rockets 13.7 (85) to 7.10 (52) at Arena Joondalup, where the Year 12 Jets also triumphed over Kingsway 7.8 (50) to 5.4 (34).

The Year 12 side will aim to become the best junior club in Perth when it competes for the WA Football Commission State Championship title at East Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

The Jets will face central conference winner High Wycombe and Fremantle conference premiers Bullcreek Leeming for junior football’s ultimate prize.
