THE redeveloped Joondalup Sports Club will accommodate the rise of females taking part in sports.

Premier Mark McGowan officially opened the new-look club next to HBF Arena in Joondalup, which included two new unisex changerooms, a meeting room, office space, storage area, drink fountains and fencing.

The $750,000 upgrades will benefit the Joondalup Netball Association, Joondalup Brothers Rugby Union Football Club, Joondalup Lakers Hockey Club, Joondalup Athletics Association and Joondalup XTR (triathlon) that all call the club home for training and competition.
