JOONDALUP go karter Craig Spencer spent the day on the track in a different capacity on the weekend.
The 14-year-old was one of four young motorsport enthusiasts to step onto the grid at the Perth SuperNight round of the Supercars Championship at Barbagallo Raceway.

The opportunity was part of the inaugural Dunlop Grid Kids Program, working with Karting Australia, where fans aged 12 to 16 get to represent Dunlop on the starting grid as brand ambassadors.
“It was very exciting to see behind the scenes and meet some incredible people,” Spencer said.
“I was very proud to be a Dunlop ambassador as I’ve used Dunlop tyres throughout my karting career.”
