NPL WA: ECU Joondalup in crucial clash with Bayswater City

Staff WriterJoondalup Times

The fifth-placed team is just three points and a nine-goal difference shy offourth-placed Bayswater City and, as it happens, the two teams meet this Saturday at Frank Drago Reserve.

Victory for the Jacks will move them equal with City on points, but behind on goal difference unless they achieve the unlikely feat of a five-goal win.

The side kept its Top Four Cup dream alive with a 1-0 win over Perth Glory last weekend.

Valuable Scottish import Gordon Smith knocked home a late penalty to seal the win at ECU Football Stadium.
