AUSTRALIAN Grand Prix motorcycle racer Bryan Staring was back in town recently to help guide the next generation of professional riders.
The former Padbury resident was a presenter and mentor at Motorcycling WA’s Jet Camp for riders of all disciplines aged 14 to 18 who want to take the sport to the next level.
The four-day off-the-bike event was held at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp in Hillarys, covering topics such as fitness and cross training, diet and nutrition, psychological preparation, preparing a pathway to success and sponsorship.
