JOONDALUP has proven to be the form team of the State Basketball League playoffs as it eyes crosstown rival Stirling in game one of the semi-finals.

Joondalup has not lost to the Senators this season, with an 18-point win in April and tight three-point victory in June.

They face Stirling at HBF Arena on Saturday night.

The Wolves progressed to the second round of post-season action after sweeping Willetton with a 109-87 victory in game two of the best-of-three series at Willetton Basketball Stadium on Saturday.

The 22-point win followed a 36-point triumph in game one to make the Wolves the league’s most comprehensive quarter-finals winners.

Big men Rob Huntington (25 points) and Jalen Billups (29 points) led the team in game two. Brian Sullivan had eight assists, while captain Seb Salinas returned six rebounds with Billups.
