THIS is it for the Joondalup Wolves in the State Basketball League.

Win against the Geraldton Buccaneers in game two of the semi-finals at Joondalup Basketball Stadium on Saturday night and their season stays alive.

Lose, and they finish a second consecutive year knowing they had the ability to win a championship but stumbled at a crucial stage.

The Buccaneers defeated Joondalup 84-77 in game one in Geraldton last Saturday.

They will contest game three in Joondalup on Sunday if the Wolves level the series.

Trian Iliadis continued his strong finals series for Joondalup in game one with a team-high 22 points.

Rob Huntington returned the team’s only double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Wolves have plenty to think about it when it comes to the Buccs’ star US import Dwayne Benjamin who took 34 points and 12 rebounds, shooting at 12-21 from the field.
