JOONDALUP will attempt an unblemished run to the State Basketball League grand final in both the men’s and women’s competitions this weekend.

The two sides have not yet lost a finals game, their latest wins coming in game one of their best-of-three semi-final series on Saturday night at Joondalup Basketball Stadium.

The Lady Wolfpack has proven a dominant force in the post-season, its three wins coming at an average 22-point margin.

The men have won by a near 20-point average.

The women face Perry Lakes in game two at Bendat Basketball Centre tonight while the men oppose Willetton at Willetton Basketball Stadium.

In the men’s contest, the Wolves held just a seven-point lead heading into the final term, but saw out the game strongly to win 122-103.

Captain Seb Salinas hit five of eight from the three-point line, but only one of 10 two-point attempts on his way to 19 points and six assists.
