Staff WriterJoondalup Times

THE Joondalup Wolves women’s team could finally end its 10-game losing streak with a clash against the bottom-placed East Perth in the State Basketball League on Friday night.

The Lady Wolfpack has not won a game since the last time they met the Eagles on April 27.

Joondalup, on four wins, is one spot above East Perth, which is winless in 2018.

The Wolves head into the contest at Morley Recreation Centre coming off a 78-67 loss against the seventh-placed South West in Eaton on Saturday.

Amy Kidner led the scoring with 18 points, while Nikita Martin had 12 rebounds.

In the men’s competition, the Wolves bounced back from consecutive losses last weekend with a 102-80 victory over the South West Slammers.

Jalen Billups hit 24 points as captain Seb Salinas racked up nine rebounds.

The triumph left Joondalup in top spot ahead of the game against the 11th-placed Eagles.
