ATHLETES will descend on Whitford Nodes Park in Hillarys this Sunday, December 15 for the annual Coastal Quest Triathlon.
The event held on Perth’s northern beaches is suitable for all levels of athletes, including a short ‘bolt’ race ideal for novices.
There is also a new addition for 2019 called Tin lids, which encourages kids aged seven to 11 to take part, with a parent or guardian welcome to join the swim with the young competitors.
This year, the event will also host the Triathlon WA State Championships over the sprint distance and will be a Triathlon Australia age group ITU World Championship qualifying race.
