Sports gear on the rise at Joondalup Little Athletics Centre thanks to Coles grant

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

JOONDALUP Little Athletics Centre has received $5000 to buy new sports gear.

The HBF Arena-based club is one of 100 across Australia to receive a grant from Coles to support local little athletes in achieving their track and field goals.

The $360,000 total funding was raised by Coles shoppers who bought a community chiller bag designed by Aussie kids, with the supermarket directing 25 cents from every sale to the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund.
