WA Premier Cricket: Joondalup and Mt Lawley could go either way

JOONDALUP has found itself in a tight tussle with Mt Lawley heading into the second day of the WA Premier Cricket clash at Iluka.

The Centurions are on 4-36 chasing 185 as they look for back-to-back wins.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Hawks found themselves immediately under pressure, as Joondalup’s Harry Larmett took three of the opening four wickets of the match.

Clint Hinchliffe also rattled the batsmen, taking 3-30 off 24 overs.

In reply, Mt Lawley’s Jay Chislett did some damage of his own with the ball, taking 3-9 off of just three overs to have Joondalup on the back footand setting up an intriguing final day on Saturday.
