WA Premier Cricket: Joondalup and South Perth in even contest

Clint Hinchliffe took excellent figures of 3-21 as South Perth were bowled out for 232 at Richardson Park, while James Boyland took two wickets upon his return to the side.

Joondalup finished 1-24 in reply, with Garrick Morgan not out on 15 and Hinchliffe on three. Sam Birchall took the hosts’ sole wicket.

In Sunday’s Premier T20 match, Joondalup scored 172 to defeat Wanneroo by 16 runs in a high-scoring derby clash at Iluka Sports Complex.
