WATTLE Grove shoppers will have more choice this week when they want to shop given the new doors opening to an Aldi, a gelato shop, and a new café along with other speciality shops.

Aldi Wattle Grove has opened its doors last Wednesday.

The other businesses are also open for trading. They include a newsagent, nail bar, pharmacy, hair salon, medical and dental care and 142 car bays.

The neighbourhood has not had a shopping centre before.

The 12 specialty shops have made up an exciting tenant mix for the neighbourhood.

The centre cost $15 million.

The new centre will offer children’s entertainment, free juice and ice-cream on September 3.

Stampede Gelato are even debuting a special new ice-cream flavour just for the event, called Wattle and Salted Caramel.
