A MAN has been charged over a serious assault of a woman in her 50s, involving a metal baseball bat.
It will be alleged the man confronted the victim, photographer Heather Thorning, and struck her with a metal baseball bat at the Lesmurdie Falls carpark at about 6.30am on September 12.
Police said the man then left the area in a red car.
