The Gazette and WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry have come together to invite businesses to the forum on February 21.
Mr Draper, who is the State manager of Jayde Transport in Forrestfield, said the tax was an “obvious impost on the business”.
He was also concerned with any talk of the removal of the payroll tax exemption for staff who were training.

“Our industry is an ageing one,” he said. “We need to train people; what incentive will there be for training if the exemption goes?”
Mr Draper, who oversees a staff of 36, said he was also keen to learn at the forum about traffic around the Forrestfield train station being built in Dundas Road in High Wycombe.
While not a high-traffic area, he said that might change.
