GARRICK Theatre life members Lynne Devenish, |Barbara Brown and Kerry Goode get together for lunch as often as their busy lives permit.
I now live very quietly by myself, and so I am looking forward to spending quality time with my two daughters, their partners and my granddaughter.
The rest of the break I shall spend catching up on some gardening, studying the script of a play that I am directing next year and organising the Garrick archives in preparation for writing the sequel to Garrick’s history, The Golden Years.
My son and his family are visiting from Singapore and we hope to spend time at the beach, Kings Park, visiting lots of playgrounds and of course shopping for presents.
Christmas Day lunch will be at my daughter and son-in-law’s new home, along with other family members.
Leading up to Christmas Day I will be entertaining friends at home and also dining out at various venues.
Then a large contingent will embark on a 10-night cruise around the eastern Caribbean. The next leg will be flying to Las Vegas for a few days, followed by the youngsters heading off to ski in Colorado.
The senior party will make their way home to Perth, with a stopover in Sydney to see even more children and grandchildren.
Garrick Theatre’s current production is Touch And Go, directed by Alice Dale. Performances are from December 7 to 10, at 8pm. Book on 9378 1990.
