THE Guildford Association is gearing up for a big November.
The annual Gunners’ Day parade will be held in Stirling Square, Guildford, on November 6 from 11am.
The day is a regimental march unique to Guildford developed after the end of the Great War, with the first day being held in 1928. All welcome.
And on Remembrance Day, November 11, the association a will commemorate Australians who died as a result of war by following the Guildford Anzacs Walk Trail.
The trail is a self-guided walk highlighting homes where Anzacs lived.
People can start at any point and follow the poppy plaque trail learning the soldiers’ military history as you go, using your smart phone.
