Guildford: crowd gathers for lighting of Xmas tree in Stirling Square

A CROWD of 100 people arrived in Stirling Square, Guildford for the annual lighting of the Christmas tree lights and a picnic dinner on Sunday.

There will be a carol service in Stirling Square on December 18 at the St Matthew’s Anglican Church.

Sponsors include St John of God Midland Public Hospital, Midland MLA Michelle Roberts, The Guildford Association, the Kiely family, ECU historian and academic Bill Leadbetter and Kennard Signs, along with John Squire, the Cocking Family and Guildford Signs.
